“Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals,full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again. ”

“Very friendly, both at check in and at breakfast. As I had a single room, it was lovely to be able to sit for a while in the gardens & residents lounge. Parking on site was a real bonus. The property is in a quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the sea front”

“Nice clean B&B. Comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast. The decor was nautical and holiday themed and put you in a good mood for the day. Beautiful view of the beach and the harbour. Easy to walk to shops and seafront. Beach was just across the road.”

“From before our holiday even started, our hosts were attentive and informative. Mel and Trish were extremely welcoming and helpful. They met my family and I at our drop off location and took us to the guesthouse showing us all the best attractions and places to eat. We felt right at home when we arrived and the room was immaculate, with lovely treats for all of us - the games for the kids was an amazing touch - we loved the fresh milk in the fridge too! “We stayed in Room 22. Grrat views of the beach and Weymouth Bay. Check in was easy. There is no reception, you ring the bell or call the number posted on the door. We were met by Dean who checked us in. The room is up 2 flights of stairs and was warm, but after opening the windows, it cooled down. There were no fans, but my portable fan did help at night.
