"Hotel itself was very clean, never got breakfast, so can’t speak for that. Lyft and Uber were very scattershot to get to and from Evergreen and didn’t want to take the chance for Red Rocks getting stranded. Biggest pet peeve was a mysterious 15 dollar a day charge they gave me. Hotel policy for access to pools and hot tubs I didn’t use. I’m sure it’s hidden somewhere in some page and subsection in Expedia disclosure, but still sucks and probably could have done better just calling hotel...

"Although we love Golden and the hotel is right in the downtown area, you are paying for location. Room is basic and clean. Restaurant at the hotel has good food and portions, prices on par with other downtown eateries. Parking is either valet at $25/night or find a place on the street which is getting harder and harder every year. Prices for stay getting higher and higher and given no other amenities (pool, etc) harder to justify too."

"The inn was very clean. My biggest complaint is with the amenities. 1- they only clean your room every day upon request. Not a big deal for us but some people may not like that. 2- the breakfast is unimpressive. Every day we went they were out of forks, coffee and half and half. Had to find the attendant to let her know. Toaster is broken- people were using waffle iron as a toaster. Very limited options. The water pitcher was empty 2 of the 4 days we went."
