"Nice resort right on the beach. There is a pool and a designated swimming area right off the adjacent beach. Breakfast was nice with a choice of American or Filipino favorites. Staff was friendly and helpful, and provided overnight laundry service. The only downside is it’s about a 20 minute walk back out to the main road where there are other shopping and restaurant choices. Not a deal breaker though, as Grab will come directly to the resort and take you wherever you need to go."

"The hotels desk at the airport made the transfer from the airport quick and easy and upon arriving the helpful staff made check in fast. The first thing you notice is how beautiful and well maintained the grounds are and how friendly and helpful the staff are. We have been to hotels where most of the staff are very good but at this resort all the staff are excellent. The room was just as I’d expected with a nice balcony and view. All the restaurants are very good as well. The pools were beautiful with lots of activities to keep busy with if you wanted. The beach was small but very adequate and clean with drink service everywhere.The breakfast buffet was the best I’d ever experienced. As a matter of fact this Shangri La is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at for a beachside experience. I found there was no need to leave the hotel grounds. We did anyway but we’re glad to return.I just can’t say anything negative about this hotel, I just loved it here."
