"We stayed here for 5 nights and it was one of three hotels we stayed at during our trip. It was the most spacious room. It was a suite for three people on the top floor. It was nice having a bar with a view and the bartender was great. The room was clean where it was important but not well maintained or deep cleaned. It looked like nobody had detailed cleaned the room in a long time. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was great. The shower had water pressure and got hot quickly and was easy to use. It's kind of far from central Amsterdam but it's only a seven minute walk to trams that take you downtown in fifteen minutes or less. Don't do the breakfast. It's absolutely not worth the money. The food was cold and all the tables were dirty. They make the restaurant downstairs out to be something special and really it's just outdated and dirty. I would stay here again if I needed to but I'd rather try to find something better. I think the worst part was that they have see through windows into the bathroom and you can't block them. It's only part of the door window and part of the window into the bedroom but it's hard not to see your friends showering and getting ready in the morning. I really don't understand who thought this was a good idea."
