The property set a very high standard. Felt very homely and welcomed and helped in with our luggage by Michael and we found him a great host .The room was immaculate and so many nice touches like fresh milk and filtered water and Yorkshire teabags which are my kinda cup of tea. Also a small fridge in the wardrobe which really did give this our thumbs up. Ice cold drinks while getting ready to go out. It’s right on the doorstep of everything you would need like cafes restaurants and shopping. We stayed 3 nights and still so many shops and bars to choose next time and also met some nice people along the way. It really was a great time spent at the Braemar. Keep doin what you do Michael we really enjoyed our stay. See u soon .

Lovely welcome from Michael .who even parked our car and brought our bags in.rooms are very clean and modern and hotel is in a great location for the shops and bars . Had a fantastic stay .full marks to our hosts highly recommend.will definitely go back

Perfect B&B Hotel for a visit to Southport. Well-located and very friendly/helpful owners. We had Room 5 which was spacious with 2 chairs by the window.

Very friendly and helpful

We stayed at the Braemar for two nights and found the location ideal, Southport is a very nice town with lots of nice restaurants. Mike was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with lots of choice and delivered efficiently.

Good b&b. Immaculately clean, well located for central Southport. Off street parking a bonus. Room facilities very good - hospitality tray, room fridge, internet TV (bring your Netflix password!). Really nice guest lounge with well stocked honesty bar. Hosts friendly and knowledgeable about local eateries etc. Recommended.

I stayed 2 nights in room 7 (a single room). Very pleasant greeting from the owners upon arrival, the room was decorated in a modern and pleasing style. I didn't really have the option to spend much time at the hotel during the day, but can say that the room itself was very quiet at night, and due to the location I thought I might have noticed noise from local bars/clubs...but not a dickybird. Would highly recommend from my experience.

Fantastic stay

After reading all the other reviews i can see why the rating is as good as it is. Absolute fantastic stay at this hotel. Very handy location for the attractions and shops restaurants bars and sea front all within a short walk. I was greeted with a very welcoming and warm smile by the owner Michael. After checking, i was shown to my room with a brief explanation of how things worked within the room. This was helpful but not given in patronising manner. Breakfast smelt beautiful and it looked like most of the other guests had breakfast most morning, i didn't only because i had other arrangements. Checking out was very simple and painless. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Relaxing and Excellent Hotel

We spent 4 nights at The Braemar Hotel, Michael the host was there to greet us, he gave us local information of where to eat etc. We were travelling to Liverpool by train for the day and he was very helpful by giving directions to the train station and times of trains etc. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and had all the extras to make our stay comfortable. Always on hand if we needed anything, a very delightful and friendly place to stay! We intend to return for another visit as it was a relaxing few days and everything we wanted was to hand. We would highly recommend this hotel!!
