I travel extensively and this is one of the BEST experiences in a hotel I have had. The staff, housekeeping, outdoor area, decor of each room, everything was perfect! Came here for our anniversary. This place is a 10. From the amazing staff to the beautiful well appointed rooms the fantastic 12 o’clock standard checkout. The bed was absolutely delicious. We stayed in the Omar Sharif Room. I highly recommend it. Amazing value. And it’s close to all the fun. We will truly always make it a part of our relationship to come back here.

Cool hideaway in gritty Hollywood, located just 3 blocks off of Hollywood Boulevard. A former apartment building, well-appointed rooms surround a small courtyard with 2 gas fireplaces and are named and decorated celebrating famous actors (eg. Steve McQueen, Greta Garbo), Only disappointment was a bizarre 4:30 PM arrival experience in which the frontdoor was locked with no one answering doorbell for 10 min until a cleaning person did so. Made for a very poor welcome, and exacerbated by a male front desk clerk whom seemed non-plussed by our inconvenience. Thankfully night and morning clerks were very engaged, helpful and kind. Hint: rooms can be small so spend a little more for the Grand rooms.
