Wonderful hotel with great location
It was a great experience of staying at the hotel. The hotel manager and staffs welcomed me and cared me with all the best. The room was very clean and cozy, and the view of my room was fantastic! The bedding was very comfortable. The restaurant was wonderful and offered a good service. I was sad when I left the lovely hotel. Highly recommend to all pilgrims. Thank you Christine, you were the best hostess!

Better then 5 stars hotel
I would like to give 5 Stars for the manager and all the staffs of the hotel Sainte Marie. The location is great, just a few steps from the Sanctuary and the view of my room was fantastic. The room was very clean, and very warm and so beautiful. Everything was well organized for the pilgrims. Thank you very much Christine for caring me and all the guests as like your family. Thank you, Thank you, Thank You! : )

Christine was an excellent and most personable host. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel was conveniently located a few steps from the Lourdes Sanctuary. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Lourdes.

I stayed at Hotel St Marie with my mother in early October. We visited Lourdes after Paris. It was my mother’s first trip to continental Europe and the first trip to Lourdes for both of us. I selected this hotel based on the amazing reviews, and they were accurate! This is the absolute perfect hotel for a visit to Lourdes. The location is absolutely wonderful—very easy walking distance to the Sanctuary, grotto, everything! It’s also romantically situated—look at the photos online. It’s spotlessly clean and quaint, and it feels classic and spiritual. Very clean and comfortable but not inappropriately swanky for the locale and purpose. Christine, the hostess/owner, is so amazingly warm and friendly. She takes pride in welcoming and helping others in this way and is a credit to the town. The breakfast each morning was prettily presented and delicious—a wonderful way to start the day. And I know this isn’t why you go to Lourdes, but the daily morning croissant is hands down the best croissant I have ever had in my life and I have spent a lot of time in France! My mother and I have such special memories of our time in Lourdes and the hospitality and atmosphere of this hotel and Christine were a special part of our experience.

Very quaint hotel with amazing water views
Our stay at Hotel St. Marie was lovely. Thank you to Kristine, the hotel owner, and her entire staff. The hotel is very well located. The best location, in my opinion; and very walkable to everywhere and everything.

Staff was very accommodating & super friendly. Bed was very comfortable surprisingly. Walking distance to Lourdes church. River view was incredible from our room & river streaming down lulled us to sleep.

Wonderful family owned property. Very easy access to the Sanctuary. Right on the river and nestled apart from any main road. The staff is amazing and the accommodations are comfortable. Breakfast was great.

This is an older hotel that is extremely nice. It absolutely fits with the vibe of town and the ambience. It is clean and safe but the absolute best thing is Christina. She may be the nicest person I have ever met and extremely helpful. Love this hotel and would definitely stay again

Amazing, super clean and above and beyond staff. I would not call these negatives but ve aware...rooms are a little snug and there is a perfume scent throughout the hotel and rooms. If you are sensitive to smells, may want to call ahead and ask for room not to be sprayed with scent they use.

Perfect for Pilgrims
This is a quaint hotel right across the river from the Lourdes sanctuary. You can watch the evening candlelight procession from your windows. The windows are old, floor to ceiling that open like French doors with outside shutters that you can close if you prefer to sleep late. If you like solidly constructed, older buildings, this is the hotel for you. The owner is wonderful, very friendly and concerned with her guests welfare. From the hotel you can walk everywhere from the fortress to the sanctuary and everything in between. No matter where you've wandered to it is always a short walk to get back to the hotel. If you are making a private pilgrimage like we were, your will love the location of the Hotel Sainte Marie.

Great location. The service was excellent. We had trouble finding the hotel due to a road closure and the owners son drove to meet us and escorted us to the hotel. No complaints.

Lovely hotel with an incredible location! We were right outside the entrance to the sanctuary and fell asleep to the sound of the rushing river. The receptionist was also so kind! Highly recommended!

Todo muy bien.
El Hotel esta bastante bien, muy bien situado a 5 minutos de la basílica. Dispone de aire acondicionado y es bastante tranquilo el personal es un encanto y bastante atento. Se defienden en español lo que es un alivio para quien no entiende francés. El único pero es que es algo difícil de localizar al estar en el interior de un parking. Tiene aparcamiento propio y es gratuito.

Lovely and clean hotel facing the Sanctuary
We had a lovely experience for one night at this hotel. The staff is welcoming and the accommodations clean. The location is perfect, just a short walk across the river to the Sanctuary. The menu is simple, not tasty but useful to have if you just want to go.
