"Inn on the Hudson was once a fabulous place--unfortunately that was back in 1959. If the property were spruced up, the breakfast upgraded and the mattresses from 1959 switched out--the beautiful setting would be carried across the entire experience. Parking 1960 easy breezy, everyting else needs a make over."

"The present Century House is a very dated hotel, I think they are replacing it with a new one doen the street, however what they lack in decor they surpass in hospitality. Everyone from the reception desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here overnight for our son's graduation from RPI. I refused to be price gagged by the ridiculous prices, and required multiple day stay, at the hotels in Troy. This place is an easy 10 min. drive to the college. The breakfast was ok but we didn't have time to eat out because we had to leave by 6:45a.m."

"I found the hotel was only okay this stay. The toilet in the room did not flush properly; tank would not refill every time without adjustments. Notified staff, hopefully it will be fixed before next guests. Fire alarm went off every morning between 7-7:15. Very annoying."

"Bistro was very expensive. No included coffee or breakfast. 2 cups of coffee in room but not enough for two mornings for two people. Bathroom and bed very nice."

"Mirrors and floor in bathroom were dirty, air conditioning was so loud we had to shut it off to sleep."
