"Everything about our stay at Glen Afric was amazing! When we arrived our room had been upgraded, and was large with nice touches. The views were incredible, especially the sunsets over the mountains. All staff were so friendly and helpful, they really made an effort to get to know, and help you, nothing was too much!! Talking of too much, the food and drinks were reasonably priced and all freshly made to order. Finally the animals, it was brilliant to see the animals in their natural habitat, giraffes, elephants, zebras, monkeys, etc. just roaming around, the lions, tigers, leopards were in enclosures, but these were very large, and not like a zoo enclosure. We cannot recommend Glen Afric highly enough, and already planning our next visit!!!"

"Kobie, the host, was extremely pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was neat and clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We loved the sound of the river flowing passed. We had to ask for mugs to make coffee in the mornings, and Kobie was happy to supply them. There was a microwave oven in our room, but one needed to supply your own dish liquid, washing up cloth and kitchen towel in order to wash dishes. This is not a train smash, but it makes your stay easier if you come prepared. There was a terrific storm one night, with good sized hail; fortunately we had a sturdy carport to protect our vehicle."
