โIn a great location, this simple hotel gives good honest service and accommodation, it overlooks the beach and the train station, from which you can travel back in time on a steam train. The town is just down the road and for bigger shops, there are 3 supermarkets 10 minutes walk away. You can walk along the promenade in either direction, and a visit to the harbour is well worth the walk. โThe hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.โ
โBased on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. โ
โConvenient for the show that we were going to @ the Millennium Centre. Very friendly staff & clean & comfortable room. Will use again in the future. โ

โThe hotel is located in a quiet residential area on a waterfront. It was between Cardiff Bay (15-20 minute walk) and city centre (15 minute walk). The kitchenette was adequate to prepare/cook a simple meal. The breakfast was good with a range of food, including a cooked breakfast. We thought it was excellent value for money.โ
