The room was good but very white could do with a bit of colour ( even just one wall )
Overall great view from our room and a great break.
Cooked breakfast excellent. Pity they didnโt do evening meals โ
โThe hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.โ
โGreat location minutes away from cafรฉs, pubs and eateries. Funicular virtually next door. Lovely old hotel, clean and full of character though indeed of a little tlc. We were made very welcome and our rooms were upgraded at no extra cost with amazing views across the valley. Very dog friendly and would definitely stay there again. Thank you. โ
โa typical city centre budget chain hotel, with comfortable bed and pillows, and a nice fresh new feel to it.
For price paid my only criticism would be a design that does not provide much storage space - even budget travellers bring extra clothes with them!!โ
โBased on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. โ

โFantastic stay only a short walk from Cardiff Main Station, Castle or City Center. Check-in with keyless code and key box. The whole accomodation has been renovated recently so everything is in very good condition. Highly recommendableโ
