Mason's Island, Mystic hotel rooms at the Independent

"Good parking and breakfast. Reception was helpful orienting us to area. Bed was too soft though"

"This hotel was recently renovated and the rooms look great! The staff are excellent and go out of their way to accommodate you. My first room was right next to the restaurant and I knew it was going to be noisy the next morning. So I went to the desk and they happily switched it without any problems! My complaints would be that I asked when I got there what time the shuttle to Foxwoods started and was told 5:00. I needed to go earlier and ordered a Lyft. As my Lyft driver was pulling up the shuttle shows up and people get on! I paid for a ride when I didn’t have to! Please make sure your staff knows the correct time! Also I had a 12:00 checkout and housekeeping was at my door at 11:00. Overall I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone M"
