DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Grand Key - Key West
8/10 Good
"The staff was accommodating and nice, The shuttle service to airport and Duval street saved us some money, and inconvience and paying for parking. Bed was clean. I’m very picky. The bathroom could have used a little more tlc. Complimentary water bottles was great."

Oceans Edge Key West Resort, Hotel & Marina
10/10 Excellent
"Very family friendly place and the property grounds was beautiful."

Sugarloaf Key Hotel at KOA Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic place!
We stayed in the hotel part of the resort - our apartment was big (even though it was the standard size) and it was spotless. The kitchen had all the plates, cups, and utensils etc you could need, and there was a washer and dryer with detergent.
We loved the many USB ports all over the apartment to charge phones etc.
Bathroom had a fantastic shower and was also spotless.
The only minor issue we had was that there isn't a lot of hanging space for longer clothes. If you have any longer dresses, I'd recommend bringing your own coat hangers and use the hooks rather than the rail, but as I said.. minor issue.
The staff are lovely, the pool is nice, the pub was popular (cooled with fans which was great) and the food was good.
We will happily book this again next time we're in the keys!"

Blue Flamingo Resort Key West
10/10 Excellent
"A short Uber ride from the airport, Blue Flamingo exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is exactly how it looks in the website photos, and the staff is more than accommodating. Having access to the Concierge was amazing, as they helped us rent our golf cart for our staff (a must have to travel around the island). There is 2 pools, two bars and the food truck that served a variety of really great food items. It was reasonably priced, and with the daily Happy Hour, you can't go wrong. The list of signature cocktails is quite extensive and all of them are tasty (make sure you try the Spicy Watermelon Margarita and the Florida Crush!!). Irina was our favorite bartender by far! She is funny has great stories, and makes a mean drink. Make sure you stop by the second pool bar in the afternoon to see her.
Our room was everything we expected. Beds and linens were great with daily cleaning service. We had a pool view room that did not disappoint. This resort is very family friendly. With access to different pool floats and a variety of seating options. Do arrive at the pool early, as seats are a premium especially in the afternoon.
About 15 minutes from Duval St., with plenty of restaurant options surrounding the resort, we would definitely considering staying here again as a family. "

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful family vacation there"

Sugar Loaf Lodge
8/10 Good
"Location is good. Close to Key West with a comparatively affordable price. Would be nice if they had a beach for swimming. Facilities also need some uplifting. "

Old Wooden Bridge Resort and Marina
4/10 Poor
"It wasn’t all bad but the place lacked comfort. The only comfortable chairs were on the deck. The futon in the main area was uncomfortable and worn, the beds were metal legs with a wood base with a mattress on it, very uncomfortable. The houseboats were parked right up next to each other and our bedroom was right by someone else’s deck. They were night owls and stayed up until at least 2 am talking. There were three loud a/c units on the houseboat that frequently cycled on and off and when the bedroom one was on, it would drown out their voices but when it was off, which was often, you could clearly hear them even though they were talking in normal tones. I tried changing it to fan only but it got too warm and I settled for turning it as cold as I could stand it so it ran a little bit more. Needless to say I got very little sleep. The houseboat we were in was on the public access channel so there were frequently boats going by while you were sitting on your deck, close enough to slap a high five if you wanted. The houseboat is close to the dock but be aware it goes up and down with the tide, if you have mobility issues you could be making a fairly significant step up or down depending on the time of day. There is also construction going on next door so it’s kind of a mess.
We did see Key deer, pelicans, Ibis, and other wildlife which was cool. The place was clean and had good water pressure. If you stay here go to No Name Pub nearby, it’s a cool place."
