โStaff was very friendly and there was a complimentary shuttle to the Mohegan Sun which was great. Very convenient location and the hotel was very updated and clean. Would stay there again.โ
โEverything is "unique" about Captain Grant's!...The perfect hosts Carol and Ted; the ambience; the beautiful furnishings; the cozy room with all the amenities; the absolutely fabulous breakfast w/ mimosas, pancakes with real maple syrup and blueberry topping on a exquisitely, complete totally antique, setting table arrangement; all the available extras...beer, wine, coffee. tea, brandy in the room, etc. A most wonderful experienceโ
โIt was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. โ
โThe Tabor Inn is a lovely place to stay. The grounds are beautiful. There are outdoor sitting areas. The rooms are well decorated. The owners ate very welcoming and provide great suggestions for restaurants. Great location. โ
โLocation was great for really great access to this quaint town. Roll out of bed and cross the bascule bridge (or watch it open- fun for kids)!, tons of great restaurants within 2-3 minute walk. All of the water happenings are visible from the hotel. Breakfast at Sift, a 5 minute walk "must" for great breakfast/ unbelievable croissants! Seaport close by 5 min car ride. Nice high quality rocking chairs on porches. Great restaurant on facility. Down to earth not pretentious. Just a great spot...
โThey really catered to people with dogs I highly recomend if you are travelling with a fog. It is also close to everithing like mystick village. โ
