It's the best hotel to take pictures by going to the photo spot while watching the ever-changing Matterhorn.
The kindness of the staff is also the best.
It takes time to walk, so if you have luggage, use the shuttle service (10 Fr) and it's downhill after check out and the way back, so it's enough to walk.

Dotato di un piccolo parcheggio privato davanti l'entrata. Letto ampio e molto confortevole, bagno bello, staff molto gentile e disponibile. โ

โWonderful, quaint family owned hotel. Everything you need with the kindest staff. We checked in late night- be sure to mention it to the staff and they helped us with so many details in our short stay.
Our only hesitation was a concern that after reading some reviews the hotel might be further from the main downtown area in Zermatt- psssh, perfect location just a short walk (and thats from a suburbanite american) from everything. Plus, gorgeous views right from our room. The pictures are...
"โThere was a serious sewer smell in the hotel room. The smell came from an issue with the pipe connected to the sink inside the room. A towel had already been placed under the sink, indicating that the hotel was aware of the problem, but they didnโt offer a room change because there were no available double rooms.โ"
