"The Edgewater is a bit unusual in that you enter on the 6th floor & your room can either be up or down. Because it includes two buildings, it can also be a bit confusing how to navigate the physical space. Staff is very helpful in this regard. We appreciated the amenities & the lake view was great. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to eat on an outside patio at the Statehouse & the food was excellent. The bluegrass concert on the patio was icing on the cake."

"Location was great for the Taste of Madison! Staff was friendly and let me check in early. However, room 410 smelled like someone had a dog in it before our stay. It was the only thing that ruined our trip."

"Super cool place. We love a hotel that isn't bland and beige and could-be-anywhere, and Ruby Marie is anything but! Instead it's an old converted railroad hotel with lots of cool details, gorgeous vintage oak furniture, and tasteful decorations that nod to its past history. Scrupulously clean also. Would absolutely stay here again."
