"Very convenient central location, with an Amtrak bus stop nearby. Old world style, gracious staff. Near to good food, entertainment, and the Conference Center."
"Room was clean as was the property. It was very quiet. The ac/heater was quit, bathroom fan was quiet and I did not here any other people once I closed the windows. Bed was acceptable. My room did not have a TV remote and the TV its self was stuck on input so it was useless. By the time I realized it was 11pm so I didn't bother calling the office. Would stay there again."
"I stay here every couple months to visit family.
A bit frustrated with booking inconsistencies. Last visit they said there would be a parking fee if reserved through Expedia.
They have removed this due to complaints.
Anyway, I call the number on there website twice trying to get front desk to reserve and avoid parking fee. Got a reservations service only.
Going directly through them they added 3 times the taxes and fees as Expedia
Expedia was a lot cheaper than going direct.
Normally direct hotel reservations are the same price or less because they don't have to pay a fee to Expedia.
So WTH!!"
"We live in Santa Barbara, California and are used to beautiful places.
Carmel is a true treasure.
We stayed at the Hotel Abrego as we noticed its convenient location and well priced rooms, I have to say that we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
As well as ,The staff, the fireplaces, the hot tub, clean updated rooms And the caring atmosphere that we had during our 2 night stay.
We look forward to returning and know that there is many options in this area.
But we found a loving home at Hotel Abrigo
And I'd like to say thank you, To all the staff for your continued Support during our stay and our return trips, That we are looking forward to in the next few months, plus you're warm smiles.
