โThat was a great stay! The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and big. We stayed there overnight for our son's follow-up at Driscoll, and it was awesome how close it was to Walmart and Funtracker. It worked out perfectly.โ
โI chose this based on good reviews, but it turned out to be a bad choice. There was a smell coming from the microwave, and the bathroom bathtub had been painted, but the paint came off and clogged the drain. The bathtub was messy because the paint had peeled off.
I will never go again.โ
โHampton Inn in Porta Aransas is a great place to stay. The room we stayed in was very clean and very welcome. The staff was awesome! Breakfast was very good too.. We will look forward to next year again ๐. โ
โUpon arrival the front desk was very nice and professional. we were given a room on the bottom floor entering the room we noticed the bed were not made and looked like some had tried to "turn down" the beds. The young lady who checked us in happen to walk by and we showed her the room. She asked the employee about the beds - she stated thats how she makes the bed, still not feeling comfortable we simply asked for different sheets, the lady insisted she make the room that way.

โHotel is new, clean, bathrooms clean and linens clean. Pool was nice. And breakfast was decent. Coffee waffles eggs and fruit. I plan on staying again. Great place!โ
โIf youโre looking for an affordable place to sleep and have a hot shower near the Padre Island National Seashore this is a great place. Itโs not fancy but the air conditioning was ice cold and the rooms are clean and equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. There are several food options around and itโs minutes from the entrance to the national seashore. The owners were friendly also. โ
