Wonderful hotel. Staff was great, nice lady at the front desk knew we wanted a good view so she changed our room on our second day when one at the top was available. The area is within walking distance to koreatown and all the shops, which was very convenient. My sister and I had a great birthday stay

No hot water, no coffee - very reduced offerings, probably because of the tiny rooms. Make sure your luggage is small. You cannot easily open a normal sized suitcase.

Unfortunately the room we received was not up to standard, things were falling apart and the view was terrible. Staff are nice and will make sure they help you as much as they can. For the price we paid, could have got a better room. Close to a lot of stuff in midtown and has quite a few choices of transport around town but that's where it ends with the good stuff.

Everything about the property was beautiful. The only draw back I had. Was there was some dust built up under the bunk bed other than that I have no complaints. I will definitely say again 🙂

It smells so nice in the lobby. The room was small but clean and with nice views. The water pressure in the shower was amazing.

View was good. Not much in terms of amenities. Was on the 29th floor and constantly heard banging from upstairs and it was very annoying. This banging was all day long and all throughout night, not sure what the banging was from though. Room was also not soundproof, you can literally hear everyone walking in and out of the elevators. Great view and location but wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you would like a good nights rest.

I had an excellent experience here. We checked in and watched the sunset from their new rooftop bar, amazing view of the city and pretty good drinks. The room itself was top knotch, it was definitely an experience I'll recommend to anyone who loves the city.

Friendly staff and great location, walkable to most manhattan attractions and the subway. Could hear mechanical noises constantly from our room that made it difficult to sleep at times. Bathroom door in our bunk bed room had an intentional gap at the top that eliminated full privacy.

During our recent stay at the Arlo Nomad on April 14th, I booked the King Sky View room to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday and his first trip to New York. However, at a price of $688 for one night, the experience fell short of expectations. Despite having traveled extensively, I felt compelled to share my disappointment. Anticipating a premium experience at such a steep rate, the reality was far from satisfying. The room, though in a small hotel, was even smaller than imagined. Despite being assured of a non-smoking environment upon check-in, the unmistakable scent of cigarettes greeted us upon entering the room, necessitating constant airing throughout our stay. Numerous issues marred the room’s aesthetics and functionality. The TV wires hung haphazardly, curtains were stained, and blackout shades were cumbersome to operate, often becoming entangled. The bathroom, notably cramped, featured a shower curtain that appeared unsanitary and cheaply sourced. The overall ambiance was marred by worn-out walls, chipped bed frames, and dirty, scratched windows. Lamentably, essential amenities were notably absent, including a fridge, safe, or even basic snacks, rendering the room’s exorbitant price tag unjustifiable. While the view was undeniably breathtaking, it failed to compensate for the overall experience.

There was no extraction in the bathroom and it was not enclosed properly. The shower curtain ineffective and illogical as should be a glass partition.The bed was squashed against the window with access from one side only. The blinds shutter did not work properly. The meeting room was not usable due to a prebooked meeting so nowhere to work. Staff service was poor if non existant. Hence no where to work in the hotel. Would not stay again and think the design of the hotel was poor and non functional for a guest although trying to be fashionable , but did not really work.

We stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The views from our room were incredible! Only thing about having city views is the room next to you can see right into the room if we have the window curtains open. Other than that, there's some remodeling going on and I can't wait to be back and see the finished projects.

We had a wonderful stay. We were graciously upgraded to a sky view room after I mentioned after checking in that we were there celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. While the rooms are small, they are very nicely appointed and the floor to ceiling windows with the view made the room seem more spacious. A bonus was the excellent water pressure! All the staff were incredibly friendly too. The price point for the location and amenities was a good value too. I prepaid when I booked so that helped with the price.
