“We took our dog to get away from fireworks and this was the perfect place in the mountains. Walk to river to tube or wade. Two wonderful state parks nearby. Lots of hiking trails nearby as well and River House is a wonderful base for numerous outdoor activities. Just a wonderful place to relax. A five star place. Breakfast was wonderful and while we did not eat dinner. food smelled delicious. Nice small bar to get a great cocktail.”

“We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. This b&b is tucked away from the hustle of town while still being conveniently located. The grounds are lovely to walk around, and we enjoyed seeing the various animals that live nearby. Toni is a wonderful host to the guests and really made all the difference in our stay. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. We never left hungry and you could really tell that everything was very fresh. Another visitor was vegan and was accommodated, which I felt...

“My wife and I chose this location to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary. We loved our stay at the Inn! The staff greeted us on the porch as we pulled up to the house. We stayed in the Arbor Room and loved every aspect of relaxing in the house when we were not touring Asheville. The porches meant as much to us as our own room for just enjoying cookies and coffee, and chatting with the other guests. If you stay several days, everyone feels like family. We would certainly stay here again...
