"This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. "

My husband said the trout was the best he has ever had, anywhere. Walk to town or to Tomahawk Lake Town is a popular shopping destination 20 minutes to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge museum and parkway. Also check out the town museum and the huge antique store just off the highway. "
