โWe love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy.โ
โFast and friendly check in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. An older hotel but seems to be kept up. Breakfast is just muffins and coffee is around the clock. Cameras everywhere which made me feel safe. The only downfall was the pool not being available. โ
โThis is an old building that has been updated with the old charm kept intact. I've stayed there in the past and hope to stay again in the future. It's on the town square and thereare shops and restaurants within walking distance!โ
โThe room was well appointed, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, The hosts were very thoughtful in having coffee, bottled water, iced tea, soda and juice available in the dining room 24/7. The complimentary continental breakfast was convenient and offered a wide selection of breakfast items including fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, danish, granola with toppings, instant oatmeal and more. There was a lovely private, comfortable patio area which I definitely enjoyed.โ
โIt was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request.โ
โThe hotel was great! The staff was very friendly, breakfast was really tasty & everything was very clean. The area around the hotel isn't the best but it's easy to get to off the interstate and to commute to area attractions. โ
