"My husband and I stayed here for 4 days & 3 nights. The hotel is fairly well-maintained despite showing its age, but several things made our stay disappointing. The pool was closed during our visit, yet there was no mention of this on the hotel’s website or on Expedia. Even if it had been open, it was small and overlooked a very run-down building. The biggest issue was the restaurant service. We paid extra through Expedia for breakfast for two. When we arrived around 10:00 a.m., one of the waitresses told us there would be a 20–30 minute wait and had a very unpleasant attitude. After sitting down, we waited 15 minutes without anyone taking our order despite the restaurant not being very busy. Another waitress eventually helped us and had to contact the front desk because there was no record of our prepaid breakfast vouchers. 3 waitresses were working that day. About 45 minutes later, we were told they had run out of potatoes and no substitutions were allowed, so I had to reorder. Our coffee and tea were never refilled and got very cold. In total, we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes while tables seated after us were served & finished first. The breakfast itself was very underwhelming: 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, one slice of toast cut in half, and a bowl of fruit, for $17. I also spoke to the front desk about our experience and was told a manager would contact me, but I never heard back. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again."
