"Great location for our stay, but the "double" beds seemed even tinier than doubles, the bathrooms are old and could use a refresh- drainage in the shower was an issue, and they wouldn't refresh the room in the middle of a 4 day stay- just dropped off new sheets and towels. Lobby is nice, and the restaurant was never open the weekdays of our stay. I really wanted to love this hotel as it has a lot of history for me, but it came up a bit short."

"A nice and cozy room. The bathroom and shower was great. Loved the the whole kitchen and couch in the room. Reminded me a of a studio apartment with the two flat screen TV. The amenities were good, and overall a good experience."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located and accessible to every place we intended to visit either by walking or the L. Our room was on the second floor and we could hear all the noise from the street. It was noisy at night but it usually became quiet after 11pm or 12am. I loved the hotel offered complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. A big plus for us was also that they stored our luggage as we had a late return flight. The room wasn’t that clean upon arrival. It was a bit dusty. The room felt it had ample space to move around and enough storage for two adults and a child. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Great place but not a value. There was a concert and two weddings happening on the day I was staying. It was very busy! Long elevator waits. Long waits for coffee. The lobby was so crowded all the time. I suppose these are the signs of a successful business? I never felt like a “guest” more like a consumer. One K lighter for two days and a meal. The cost of big city living put the squeeze on this country mouse."
