"The Galt Hotel was a lovely place to stay during our trip for a family event. I traveled with my child, and overall we had a great experience. Upon arrival, the valet area was a bit confusing. The staff seemed to wait for us rather than approaching the vehicle to assist with check-in, but perhaps that’s just how things are done there. I ended up self-parking, and the garage was definitely… interesting and very historical in design. Check-in was smooth enough, although the staff was training someone at the time and didn’t seem especially engaging. We stayed on the West side of the hotel, which was quite a trek with a small child. I’m not sure whether requesting the East side would have been an option, but it may have made things a little easier. One highlight of our stay was dining at Swizzle Dinner & Drinks on the 25th floor. The food and atmosphere were amazing, and the service was stellar highly recommend! We also visited the hotel spa on the 17th floor, and the team there was incredibly talented and welcoming. The hotel’s location was perfect and made getting around very convenient. Overall, despite a few very minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would consider visiting again."

"The room condition was horrible. The room smelled really bad. There were several old used towels piled up in bathtub when we first got to room. The vanity cabinet had something spilled all over them. No soap at sink. Had to use soap from dispenser in shower. The balcony off our room had bird droppings all over balcony and seats. It was not usable. Bathroom faucet was pulled away from wall. I had to hold it in to pull stopper up for a shower. The cleanliness of room was not worth the rate we were charged. If you like clean rooms and conditions, do not stay here."

"The Hotel it's self is beautiful inside. The outside needs some up keep. The main dining area had a very strong musty smell couldn't eat in there. Had a chef table experience, nice service but way over priced."

"The property looks great at first glance, but was super hot in the hallways and walls and carpets dirty. My room when went to lay down had mold on sheets cakes it was like 1a and they threw new sheets in car at me didn't offer to make the bed and I mentioned it was hot had to game security come at 2a try to turn ac down off and on and nothing next day they had to go in when I wasn't there that helped and the bathroom shower for let all water out and soaked bunch towels cause I hate stepping out onto wet floors my last night they fixed that dint help at were leaving next day And cleaning staff took a towel I had to my flat iron that was mine. Oh well but the staff up front and at valet were great and breakfast but holiday Monday they still ended breakfast early 930 that was disappointing. And there was a lot of un housed people with obvious mental concerns around the hotel 24/7. I don't think I'd return."
