"Perfection and historical elegance at the highest level. The most comfortable bed I have experienced in a hotel in many years. The grounds inspire with their cared for beauty. The architecture of the manor house is extraordinary. We shall be returning! "

"As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. "see my review for Baylis House Hotel which is the same hotel. It is old run down hotel. I stay there because it is cheap and I just need a bed for the night. It is a 2 star hotel. 1 star for having a hot shower and 1 star for having wifi."

"Just had two nights. We got the last remaking room which was described as “cosy” which it was. Very well appointed, all the food we had at breakfast on two mornings, and dinner one evening was very good. Although busy service was excellent, and all the staff without fail were a credit to the hotel. Very, very pleased with the whole visit, and would not hesitate to stay again."
