"Can’t say enough good things about our stay. From the moment we pulled up to reception, every member of staff were so welcoming, attentive, and accomodating. The property itself is incredible; and our room had the most insane view of beautiful Mt Fuji. Everything was perfect and our stay was truly something unique and special. "

"This was by far my greatest stay so far in japan. Amazing food, amazing building, amazing onsen! But westerners be wary, you will need to sacrifice some of your typical understanding of amenitys, theres no showers in the rooms, and very little english is spoken in this whole town. That being said i cant rate it less than 5 stars! If you come to this hotel, be prepared to eat (amazing) foods you never thought youd try, and immerse youself in the japanese culture. If you do not want to immerse yourself, this may not be the place for you."

"What a great hotel! Clean comfortable rooms in a lovely setting, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the welcoming, friendly staff who spoke excellent English. The bar was cozy and featured amazing cocktails - the gin & tonic with "forest" syrup was my favorite (so much so that I bought a bottle of the syrup to bring home). Would absolutely recommend this hotel, and hope to visit again someday!"
