“Excellent Hotel!”

“I was in traverse city on a weekend where there were not a lot of hotel rooms available, so I felt lucky to get this one. It was clean, the staff was very kind, and the pool is good. The walls are thin, and the rooms are small, but that’s to be expected in this category of hotel. All in all, it was good for what it is and the staff were so friendly. ”

“Just a small place, but on main drag. Plenty of places close to eat and mini golf close by to enjoy ”

“The Sierra Motel has a vintage look with all the modern amenities. Although the traffic noise can be a little loud, that was nothing that earplugs couldn’t fix. Everything has been updated and is very clean. We loved that we had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.”

“The employees were all very welcoming. The area outside the hotel offered ample seating, a clean private beach and gorgeous landscaping. The rooms and beds are small but clean. Easy parking. Close to downtown. ”

“What a great find! Convenient to Traverse Bay & Elk Rapids. Love the 60s vibe! Cozy room, but updated to 2025 amenities. Wonderful fire pit area to unwind at night. Walking distance to beach. We will be back!”
