The guy at the front desk he was so pleasant and welcoming I am sorry I didn’t get his name but he was there when we checked in on Friday after 6pm and he was very warm and cheerful. We needed that after our long flight. It was easy and smooth process to check in the room was extremely clean and tidy. It was very spacious the water was very hot throughout the duration of our stay. We normally book Extended Stay America Hotels when we travel and they never ever disappoint.
The staff very attentive and nice. Good place to resolve not high top appliances but if looking a place to rest or resolve its good and includes parking free.
The staff was superb. Excellent customer service. The hotel is ok for a night or two if visiting Universal Parks. My low review is due to the fact that they advertise breakfast included when in fact all they offer is coffee and some tiny muffins. Better advertise no breakfast, or describe it as what it is...I really dislike deceiving advertisement.
The stay was beautiful. I love how it’s was roomie. It was clean. It smell like a nonsmoking facility it’s had a full kitchen bed was comfortable. I love kitchen area with table it’s beautiful plan I will come again.. it’s it was 6 people.. yall keep them out 302 was my room
Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the staff was very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was—we didn’t hear a thing and slept soundly. My 12-year-old and I stayed overnight while traveling, checking in after midnight and out at 11 a.m. No complaints—it was exactly what we needed at the perfect time.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and conformable. I had a wonderful stay! The only negative thing I experienced is that when walking in the hall ways there was an weed order to them.
Check in/out was easy and fast. Our room wasnt exactly as expected though. The listing said they offer rollaway beds, which i was planning on using, but they do not have those. Also i expected to have at least some basic kitchen supplies since there is a full kitchen, but those items are available for a fee. The pool was closed. When asked about that, the man just said that they were waiting for someone from the state. Not sure if we'll stay here again.
Upon arriving I gave the guy a $4 tip and ended up getting room 316 which is HUGE and I later learned is a one-of-a kind king's suite for that (3 story) building. Full kitchen, enormous living room and equally large bedroom with a closet large enough for a crib and full tub. A few items were a bit worn but you can't beat the price.
I was nervous about the two star rating and the extremely low pricing that I got when I booked on Expedia, however this is nearly directly in front of the universal studios entrance and I actually got a suite which surprised me because I thought I have always paid more for less. I will definitely stay with this company again as my preferred lodging as it was most comfortable for are family. The staff that greeted us were very friendly and helpful. Curious as to why they have a 2 star rating, maybe the free breakfast? Isn't much but like I said cant beat the price or the size of the accomadations.

Trash build up outside of hotel.
Nice and friendly front desk.
Trash in stair ways.
Trash pile up and trash overflow in exterior trash cans next to side door entrance. Not cleaned up.
It was very noisy, also very hard to get onto internet. No real customer service, when it came to helping out with information about the area where to go to have meals.

On our way to this property, we received a call that we were being sent to the location 2 doors down - 5620 Major Blvd. Not a problem - they had a reservation for us. Check in was easy. The staff was nice. We went up to our floor and as we stepped off the elevator, we were hit by an awful smell - like nasty diapers! The room was nice, but had worn carpet. But there was NOTHING in the cupboards- no plates, pans, etc. We had to ask at the desk for it, but it was 2 plates, 1 bowl, 2 forks & spoons, no pan, no coffee maker as they had no coffee to go with it! I did bring my own pan, but only the smaller of the 2 units worked on the countertop cooktop. It worked for us, but it was NOT on of the nicer Extended Stay locations.

Read The Reviews
I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay for one night and I got what I expected. I research all of the hotels and read reviews going back at least six months. This hotel was rated a high six. I think that's accurate. The Good: 1) Convenient location - Universal is just down the street, 2) There are multiple food options that you can walk to, 3) The room was relatively clean. The Not So Good: 1) There's a security deposit of $100 when you check in. It wasn't mentioned in any of the communication I received after I made the reservation. It wasn't a big deal but it might be for others. They should be upfront about it. 2) The walls are thin and there's a lot of noise that comes in from the street. I didn't have an issue with noisy neighbors. Everyone staying there was respectful of other people and there were four rooms on my floor that had pets so the potential was there. 3) It was nice having a kitchen but utensils, plates, pots, and a coffee maker were not included. I would have had to go up front and ask for them. Coffee makers come standard in most hotels. As do standard kitchen tools in suites that have a kitchenette.

I will give a modest review of our stay for consideration for future improvements. First, the hotel has great bones, but could use quite a bit of TLC. Very clean with exception to the cigarette odor in the floors and walls. The reception folks were always very kind and attentive - there was an older woman working the front desk who told us to be careful because “Biden’s policies are letting illegal immigrants in” and proceeded to say that there was an attempted murder at Universal because of this (this was an odd conversation to have with front desk staff at check-in). The electronic door locks (both on our room door and the back entrance door) do not work unless two cards are taped together. Our room was very clean and came with a fridge, oven, and microwave—air conditioning was great and the bed was comfortable. For amenities, the hotel does not provide dishes, cups/glassware, silverware, or pots and pans, which is a bit odd. Hotel management—this reads as though you do not trust your customers. There should be no reason your rooms do not come pre-furnashed with appropriate amenities. If you are a customer and intend to use these amenities, you will either need to ask the front desk for all that you need (they will happily help to provide what you need) or bring what you need. A bit outdated overall, but it wasn't horrible. It wouldn't be hard to get a great rating with some simple fixes, but currently has a 4.5/10 rating from me. Please invest in this hotel!
Moved three rooms to find one without bugs. Floors were filthy. Hot water went out for a day. Smelled of canabis constantly. Locking side door propped open by pieces of mulch. Pictures & description online do not reflect the disrepair & uncleanliness encountered.

The rooms are not clean and neither are the sheets. It's truly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
We arrived late with six people, checked in and thats where it all started. The hallway smelled of urine. The room was dark and dingy. When we opened the pull out couch there was no bedding at all. The mattress actually had smears of what looked like excrement and found signs of bed bugs on the mattress. The front desk actually refunded the payment for the dog but not the room. My son called and had to demand our money back and was given the run around. Update 5days later we were finally credited the room rate.
