"HelpWe had a wonderful stay overall! The location is absolutely fantastic, and the staff went out of their way to be extremely helpful. A major highlight was the beach gear loan-out program—having two chairs, two towels, and an umbrella ready for us was an A+ perk that made our beach days incredibly easy. I do have two pieces of constructive criticism regarding the room comfort: The bedding scent: The bleach on the bedding was exceptionally heavy. It was strong enough that we actually had to ditch the pillows and set them aside because the scent was overwhelming. The mattress: The bed was very stiff, which left me feeling fairly stiff as well. Upgrading the mattresses would make a massive difference in comfort. Despite the sleep comfort issues, the hospitality and prime location made it a great trip. With a few adjustments to the room, this place would be flawless!"

"the staff was pleasant and helpful. There was some glitch at check-in when the front desk mixed up the room card keys between my room and my friend's room, which was next to mine. After the card key was correctly programmed, I was locked inside my room because the door lock did not work. Front desk came up and could not open the door, so they had to call facility. Facility took a while to open the door to my room, but the lock still was not fixed. The front desk person quickly switched me to a suite across the hall so I could still stay close to my friend's room. All and all, there was some issues but the hotel staff quickly handled the matter and was quite helpful. Room was clean, air condition works well, bed was good, I would come back."

"Surprisingly updated and clean for an older establishment. The staff were all helpful and great. Breakfast was great. We were surprised at how hot the hot tub was. They're usually not so great at hotels. Rooms were very clean, roomy, updated and nice. We love when they have bottles of lotion, shampoo and conditioner. :) We would stay here again. Thanks!"

"Loved this stay from staff to the location I had to minus a star for the mold smell in the room which unfortunately is common in OC hotels… it’s an issue. They did have a window in the room that helped. The room was large and had a fridge and microwave. Good stay overall. Not a luxury place so if I had the money I’d get a guaranteed non-smelly hotel which would prob be a lot more money."
