"We stayed in a deluxe room and whilst it was kept clean by the staff, the room was tired and in need of some attention. It could also have done with some soft furnishings to make it feel a bit cosier. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but went up to the bar for a drink. Lovely views of Palermo. Great location and close to bus routes and the airport bus stop was about a 1 minute walk away."

"Property was well maintained and clean and provided our basic needs . Water , coffee tea were provided in the room without charge and continental breakfast with a variety of choices . Outlets for charging phones and watch were provided without having to take your own adaptor. My only complaint would be that no facecloths were provided ,but I am not sure whether it is a Palermo “thing “ or an Italian “thing”, because we had the same issue at a boutique hotel we stayed at a few days earlier. The staff was excellent…. Very pleasant, approachable, very willing to help , despite a language barrier."

"We had a triple room here which was great, it was clean and spacious. Germano was a very good host, with great communication throughout. The only downside we had was that the aircon unit for this room was very small, so struggled to cool down the room during the very hot weather, which made it difficult to get to sleep. Otherwise i would stay here again."

"The property was wonderful. It was so clean, light and spacious; a true oasis of calm amidst the glorious chaos of Palermo. The rooms were very well maintained (cleaned every day) and ours had a lovely view towards the harbour. There is location is excellent: a 5 minute walk to the harbour and just 10 minutes to La Vuccuria and all the other restaurants. There is a busy road directly outside the property but despite being light sleepers this didn’t disturb us at all thanks to the double glazed doors. Unfortunately breakfast was a real disappointment. Very little choice, with very little fruit and no muesli or granola after the first day (they had apparently “run out” but never restocked on later days), the cooked option was poor, with badly cooked scrambled eggs the only option most days; and these were just left to go cold. If you have a choice when booking, we would recommend not paying for breakfast and instead making your own in the 3rd floor breakfast room, which was always free for guest use, and had fridges, toaster, kettle, etc."

"So after arriving from A 24 hr travel to get there, we just wanted to get to our room which was a beautiful kingsize bed and view of the water….We were asked over and over if we wanted to see the junior suit. We said sure but was not told the price…when we saw our room originally we loved it… then she brought us to see the upgrade room and continued to say we can do it for 500 more… I told my husband something is up… it can’t be… I said no at first and she kept saying only 500 more and we said ok fine… we signed that it was 500 more for the up grade. We were tired and got in very late and were hungry so we wanted to begin our vacation. I in the back of my mind thought wow this is amazing but something is up. When we checked out we were slapped with a bill of DOUBLE THE AMOUNT WE ORIGINALLY HAD! So we told them we would have Never of upgraded in the first place but she told us 500 more. We went back and forth and even though after MUCH EMBARRASSMENT WE PAID 500 a night..1500more which we should have never accepted but at this point we had to settle up and needed to leave. The paper at the bottom we signed said small letters AMOUNT ONTOP OF…the price looked the same as the original with 500 more. VERY deceiving …We were taken advantage of. I should have filmed her saying over and over only 500 more. Also just should have stuck to my gut and said NO!"
