"When I arrived, it was 108°, and they informed me that the swimming pool would be closed for the next couple of days. A hotel in Palm Springs with a swimming pool closed. Hum. That information was not made available at the time of the booking. When I entered my room and took my shoes off, I found that the carpet was soaking wet with water. Apparently, the air conditioning unit in the room had leaked for some time. When I called the front desk and informed them, not once did they apologize. The woman at the desk simply said, "Would you like me to send someone up to take a look at it?" I had to explain to the woman that it mattered not whether she sent somebody to the room. The appropriate thing was to apologize and to move me to a new room immediately. That seemed a novel concept to her. This is a deeply dated property. It feels like going back in time to the late 80s or early 90s. If you don't care about the aesthetic or the amenities and you simply want a convenient location (proximity to "downtown") and a comfortable bed to stay in, this is your place."
"Quiet and convenient location. It is walking distance to the mail plaza where restaurants , bars and theaters. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is included and it is decent."
"The night we arrived, we sat down on the couch and the chair in our room to play some cards before bed. Within 10 minutes we felt like we were getting bit by something. Within an hour, my hand was fully swelled up. At first, I didn’t make a big deal of it, but by the next day, it was very painful. So we reported it to the front desk and they filed a report. Now they are switching our room and going to have a company come in and check for some type of bugs. Hopefully they check for bedbugs because I cannot see any bugs but these bites on my hand are so painful. I believe I’m having an allergic reaction to it. We have not used the living room since that day and have been sitting at the dining table most of the time when we have been inside.. not a very great experience."
"The rooms were nice and the location of the hotel was my favorite part. But for this being my first time I was a little upset with the amenities mostly. First, the restaurant and pool bar. The hotel advertises a restaurant and pool bar but now I’m finding out throat my trip the restaurant is only during events/busy weekends and the pool bar is only open if business permits it and I say it that way because I over heard a few bartenders say they weren’t going to open after all because it’s not that busy. Secondly, drag bingo. Me and a group of guys that I met were staying there, were interested in the drag bingo but waited almost an hour before finally realizing it got canceled. We were sitting there with hotel drinks just waiting and waiting. We over heard the front desk tell a woman that if it doesn’t start in the next 10 minutes just consider it canceled. It’s a bummer but I know life happens and believe me I know there’s drag bingo at least once a day but this event worked out with our schedule. Thirdly, parking. Parking “comes the with the resort fees” as I was told but he proceeded to say just $15. Is that his tip am I still being charged for parking? Because the terminology to me comes off as if I shouldn’t have paid anything. Sorry for my confusion I just want to be on the same page. Would I stay here again?? Possibly. Would I recommend it?? Only if it’s during an event. It’s really my vibe for a stay but I wanted the amenities! Thanks and hope it gets better next time!"
"I specifically reserved this hotel for the 21+ Adults only pool. However, during my stay there were children in the adults only pool. Screaming children, while there’s a designated family pool. I called the front desk, and i was told they would handle it and go out to the pool area to talk to the parents. Nothing was done"
"Staff was excellent especially Areli Charmaine Chris and Edgar. Rooms were a bit on the small side and beds seemed more like a double than a queen. Overall the stay was great! I would stay here again"
"LOVED this hotel. The room was so cute and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. There are so many amenities, you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. Can’t wait to come back!"
