"We had room number eight, an upstairs suite that includes a king size bed, a lounge chair and a small table with two chairs. The room has a charming balcony that overlooks a Koi pond. The bathroom has both a shower and a copper bathtub. The main room also includes a small coffee bar area with sink, for preparing drinks and snacks. A small refrigerator is installed underneath. The complementary breakfast has a lot of variety, including omelettes, chilaquiles, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola as well as local specialties. We found all the staff to be helpful and proactive, but the real standout was a woman named Karina, who helped us out on many occasions. We had such a nice time we plan to return next year!"

"This hotel is in a wonderful location and is filled with beautiful textiles. Everyone we encountered here was wonderful and so nice and helpful and in particular, Angel, was indispensable. The rooms were spacious and this is one of the few places in San Cris that also had a heater for the room. Additionally, there are two outdoor courtyard spaces that were wonderful. We were traveling with our two small dogs and it was so nice to have a safe space for them to explore a little. It’s an easy walk to Guadalupe Street and the markets and there are plenty of little shops to buy water and fruit and snacks, laundry services, etc. It was also easy to get a taxi here and I don’t think we spent more than four or five dollars to take a taxi anywhere in the area. "

Our room was incredibly comfortable and well-designed. ​A few highlights: ​The Food & Drinks: The restaurant is top-tier; every meal and cocktail was excellent. ​The Tours: We used the hotel’s drivers for trips to Sumidero Canyon and Palenque. They were professional, friendly, and made the long journeys seamless. ​The Staff: Unlike other places we’ve stayed, the team here truly makes you feel like a valued guest. ​If you are visiting San Cristóbal de las Casas, do not hesitate to stay here. It was one of the highlights of our trip!"
