Pelee Island, Pelee Township hotel rooms at the Independent

"We booked this motel last minute. We are biking in peely Park today. It was all we needed for a one night sleep. coffee and breakfast options are approximately a kilometer away. But in general, it was basic but good. Traffic outside get busy starting at 5:30 am."

"The hotel is easy to find and the closest to the national park so it was great to visit daily and close drive to downtown and waterfront. Dining available. Lots of parking available. Games room is great. Nice pool but gets very loud with kids using the slide on weekends or when doing construction. Pet friendly. Only complaint was "patio" consisted of 2 patio stones and a tree on each side to the curb parking in front of room.Wouldn't consider it a patio as couldn't sit there with chairs because the car is right in front. Non patio room guests parked in front of ours so was annoyed we had to squeeze around their car. Will pick a balcony another time with more room. Will only clean room only as requested at check in."

"Its no frills...i liked that it was clean and convenient for a night or two stay. The little decorative garden area was nice and well kept. Newer tv's with plenty of channels, i was comfortable and peaceful. Ok on the price. Would have been nice to offer a coffee and small sweets for a comlimentary,just a suggestion"
