“Was a clean and comfy room for our overnight stay. Only fault I could see is no bar fridge in room. Other than that it was great!”

“Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn. “Meikleour Arms is a unique inn on a large estate (hence "Arms," which refers to the coat of arms of the estate owner. Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. “Lovely gem of a pub with great food, lovely ambience and super-friendly host and staff. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious and at the price point was excellent value for money. Great stop-off point just a few minutes off the motorway. At the price point it is great value. Oh, and the delicious breakfast was carefully prepared and presented. I must sound like a relative or shareholder! 😊”

“The amazing water mill was a stunning and unique feature of the hotel. We found the noise of the water flowing throughreally calming. Our room was lovely and clean. The toilet was nice and clean but it was tired looking just needs upgraded. Overall a very enjoyable stay.”
