Booked this hotel for 2 nights and the room we were initially given had a really bad smell and was on the 3rd floor. We requested to change this as I had a bad knee and was not able to manage that many stairs as there are no lifts. We were given another room which was very nice. I just want to give a big shoutout to GAGA who was absolutely lovely, she is the most sweetest person ever. Thank you Gaga for everything you did for us ❤️❤️ Breakfast was ok.

You can tell that at one point, this hotel was all the rage. It is still beautiful, but some upgrades are visibly needed. For some reason they are very strict on the check-in process. Even 5 minutes before the official check-in time, we were told to wait. If the rooms are ready, I think they should allow guests to check-in. Instead, they had everyone wait in the lobby until exactly 3pm, which created a bit of chaos. But the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was amazing, and the location is perfect (away from the main street but close enough to walk everywhere).

Kein 4 Sterne Hotel

Leider sehr hellhörige Zimmer, wir konnten jedes Gespräch von den Nachbarn mitverfolgen. Vielleicht auch bedingt durch die Durchgangstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Definitiv nicht sauber, wir hatten tote Mücken an den Wänden kleben, Flecken auf den Bettlaken, das Badezimmer wurde nicht wirklich gereinigt (wir hatten eine tote Grille im Bad auf dem Boden, diese wurde 3 Tage lang nicht entfernt) Lage ist gut, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Restaurants und zum Strand. Nette Hotelangestellte.

Mangelfuldt.

Hoteller var enormt mangelfuldt. De havde ikke vores booking k systemet da vi kom, og ville have vi skulle betale igen. Halvdelen af hotellet var lukket, og lignede noget der havde været efter landet i flere år. Børneområde var smadret, alle pools var ikke åbnet, og der lugtede af skimmelsvamp på værelserne. Fitness var heller ikke en ting.

Hotelli vastasi hyvin odotuksiamme. Huoneet olivat erittäin siistit ja tilavat. Allasalueet viihtyisät ja rauhalliset, ja yleensä aina oli aurinkotuoleja vapaana. Altaan vedenpinta näytti joinakin päivinä hiukan epäpuhtaalta (aurinkorasvaa tms.). Aamiainen oli riittävä, ja kohtalaisen runsaskin. Hotellin henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä. Hotellin tuk-tuk palvelu rantaan ja bussin Patongille olivat erittäin hyvää palvelua.

Good location, situated on edge of Karon beach, just next to Kata beack, both lovely. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, lots of trees and wooden walkways. Adults only pool and Club lounge offering teas and coffees through the day.

Hotel was nice. Rooms are pretty small. Didn’t care for their breakfast buffet, I wish they had a more authentic Thai breakfast. Considering Phuket is a very tourist area, it was still hard to communicate with the staff. Also wish they had a complimentary shuttle to the airport.

An okay place, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel itself is beautiful and we had okay customer service for the most part. Everyone was polite and friendly. It has a beautiful location and they will Take you back and forth to the Main Street in a Tuk Tuk so you don’t have to walk up and down the hill. It is more than an hour to get to from the airport and will cost you about 1200 bhat each way. They broke one of our bags when the bellhop was bringing our bag to the rooms for us, but refused to take responsibility for it. They said it must have happened at the airport, however it was working correctly when we arrived at the hotel. They also tried to put three people in a room with one king size bed until we made them change it. Lastly, the room was INCREDIBLY humid at night because there are visible gaps in the window seals and the humidity gets into the room. They did offer is one night of vouchers for the dinner buffet to try to make us happy which was okay, but by that point we were so frustrated with the bag being broken and not being able to sleep well due to the humidity in the room at night that it really didn’t make a difference.

good, but beware of bugs

I would give 4 stars For: Great location, spacious rooms, good peripherals, friendly staffs, decent price Against: bugs(they keep coming through the balcony door), mediocre A/C, no dedicated parking area Over two nights of the stay, first night was a nightmare as the bugs (bees, flying ants) were keep entering into the room through the balcony door which cannot be closed in full.

It is on a little hill but not far from the beach. There is a tuk tuk runs up and down the hill at your convenience. We got there a bit early but the room was already ready for us and they let us in early! Good things- Friendly staff, spacious room( we were upgraded), nice pools, a games room for kids, Picnic mats - very useful Free shuttle to Parong Things need to improve Bathroom sink needed a bit of fixing- the cleaning lady must have seen it but she just left it unattended which I found very odd. Kids club is just a sad looking playground. It looked empty all the time we were staying. Overall, we were very happy with the resort.

Pros: Lovely location, relatively quiet depending on room location, food choice (breakfast) excellent. Cons: Steep hill, mini mart expensive and not much choice, theme nights expensive, pool regulations clearly sign posted not adhered too (kids jumping and diving, using water guns) not a very relaxing atmosphere. Having the luxury of 2 pools maybe one should be adults only!!

Nice design of pool and garden area. The gym is good too. Room was really nice. Location is good, can walk to Kata beach. Some reception staff is rude and needs more training. An email has been sent to the management about a few matters. Food in breakfast buffet is poor. Rice wasnt even cooked properly or overheated b4 servuce. Poor selection and variety of food.

A great stay at the Horizon Beach Club resort. Great food - superb staff and nice resort. Would highly recommend. Really relaxing vacation which was exactly what we wanted. Had a late flight out so asked for a later check out. Originally said it was not possible but they then called to say that we could check out 2 hours late for free. Awesome. As I said very accommodating staff and highly recommended.
