"My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. Room was large enough for the two of us, decent washroom, clean linens everyday and a nice little balcony. The breakfast included was a lot better than what I was expecting, it’s a full menu of local options as well omelettes, etc. One of the key points for us was the central location, this is walking distance or short transportation to pretty much anywhere you’re going to want to go in Playa. It’s also across from a municipal park that seemed to be pretty popular among the locals, they had a couple nights with free concerts, live entertainment, and great street vendors. Also, the staff were very friendly, courteous, and always willing to provide great recommendations for beaches, cenotes, activities, etc., and the cheapest/best way to get there from the hotel. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family. "

"We traveled with 7 people ages 8 months - 46 years old. We had 2 deluxe rooms that connected to each other. We initially booked with Riviera but was relocated to Sunset because of construction on 1/2 the resort. Had option of 4 pools and beach for swimming including one kids pool and water slides. Food in buffet was average and we didn't eat at many of the restaurants "

"An amazing stay! I would highly recommend this hotel if you are thinking about visiting Riviera Maya. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they can’t do enough for you and want you to be happy. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms, plenty of towels and mini bar stocked daily. The grounds of this are super special with a host of wildlife living on the premises. This makes for a truly unique experience, you never know what you will see next. Food is good, a wide selection of restaurants and buffets. This was our third time at this resort and we will surely be back!"

"Got an upgrade to the one bedroom villa with balcony hot tub and full kitchen, a nice perk to start our week. Rooms spotless. Staff very friendly. Buffet lots of variety, they always have kid friendly items. Sometimes the lunch grills get busy and you have to wait from 45-60 min for your food, but they get you drinks quickly and other times the wait is only 15 min. Don’t expect to swim in the ocean here. The beach smells a bit from seaweed and there are urchin and jellyfish warnings. Not a big deal as the pools are plentiful and immense. There are beaches just adjacent to the resort for a nice sunset stroll. Kids club was amazing, our son wanted to do activities there every day. Talented live entertainment. The beach is small so if you want long stretches of swimmable beaches look elsewhere otherwise this place if beautiful, the grounds very well kept. An amazing week. "
