Grand Riviera Princess - All Inclusive

"The staff was not very helpful at all. From the very beginning of our stay to the very end of checkout. If you brought them any issues or problems thier answers were that's just the way it is and I'm sorry. Never a solution or option to get it fixed. The staff was not very knowledgeable of where things are located or were they able to understand what you were asking more than half the time. Several individual employees acted like they couldn't speak English although their job was clearly to items such as timeshares or souvenirs but if you interrupted them when they didn't want to speak to you that was their excuse. None of the restaurants had any identifiers on them that would let you know you're at the right restaurant. Attempted to make several reservations for the sit-down restaurants and was unsuccessful. Their system of making reservations seemed very archaic and not user friendly at all for more than a party of three. If it's just a couple or single then you'll probably have no problem making reservations. The buffets were very good.The property was very well maintained clean and very nice to look at . The rooms were very clean newly updated and nice although the showers had very very little water pressure . The pools were nice and always clean but not all of the pools had towel service or food or drink ordering service. You either had to go to one of the swim up pools or find one Tower station that was usually open. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody"

"We had a wonderful stay at Platinum Yucatán! The resort was beautiful, with access to the sister resorts, great food, plenty of pools, and a relaxed atmosphere that never felt crowded. My friends and I had an amazing time, but what truly made our trip special was the incredible staff. All of the servers were friendly and welcoming, but Benedicto and Bryan stood out. Bryan always greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome, even when we weren't seated in his section. Benedicto served us for two nights and was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. He always made sure we were happy with our meals and experience. During our week-long stay, we also became friends with our bartender, Jacinto. He kept the drinks coming, made us laugh, and brought such great energy every day. He was truly a highlight of our trip. We would also like to give a special shout-out to the bellboys, Misael, Amaury, and Javier. Everyone at the front was wonderful, but these three went above and beyond. Misael and Javier drove us around the resort with positive attitudes and plenty of funny stories. They also made getting to and from our room and the sports park easy and convenient. Amaury ensured we were well taken care of and even arranged our luggage pickup and wake-up call after learning we had an early departure. All staff, especially the ones mentioned above, truly helped make our stay even more memorable!"

"The room was clean, everything physically was pretty. The pools and waterside looked nice. There was activities for kids. The staff was so weird. They seemed annoyed for even ordering part of the all-inclusive menu or drinks. Different staff gave different information about the things we asked, there was no consistency in their answers. The “snack bar” is a sports bar and the food was terrible while the lady along with some of the other employees that were there at nights serving 6/01/2026 - 6/03/2026 gave the worst service I’ve ever seen. Never again."

"Unfortunately, the elevator broke half way through our stay. It appeared to be the only one in the hotel. As someone who has a bad knee it was very difficult to go up and down several flights of stairs all day. Also, didn’t like that there were only ladders to get in the pool. Several elderly people at this resort and watched many of them struggle getting in and out. The food was fantastic and the room was clean."
Paradisus Playa del Carmen – Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

"My husband, our three kids and I just got back from staying at Paradisus for 8 nights and it really was incredible. The staff at this resort was so friendly and helpful and our family concierge Cynthia went out of her way to make every single day feel special and magical, especially for our kids, but also for me and my husband. The room was large and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They even brought in a full size twin bed for my 13 year old son so we could sit on the couch without constantly pulling out and putting away the fold out bed in the couch. The food was really great and definitely exceeded my expectations. My husband and I only drink a couple times a year but we had a few drinks and they were well poured and didn't taste watered down or short on alcohol. Our favorite restaurants were Flora, Tokimeku, Bana Family, Sal's Steak Cave, and The lunch box. Oh, and the mussels at Cappella were amazing!!!! The buffet was decent but could have used more variety and perhaps different options each day of the week. They occasionally put out different dishes but mostly it's the same every day. The sargassum in the water and on the beaches is terrible but they tried their best to manage it. There were boats getting it out of the water beyond the barriers, barriers in the water, bulldozers on the beach and people taking it up with pitchforks by hand. They have a lovely setup on the beach so I'm sure its pleasant during the winter when the seaweed is better."
