“The room was fine (not in main pub building but in separate one) but the shower room was a bit cramped. Noise from the floor above was a problem from about 5.45 am. Early risers who walked about a lot!! Restaurant was very good with good service and good food. The breakfast was excellent. Excellent location above the historic Charlestown harbour. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.”

“The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...
