"We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, too."

"The hotel was fine but they double charged my card and they don’t return phone calls or refund the double charge and it has been weeks. "

"Cleanliness is their claim to fame. Someone’s constantly cleaning or maintaining something. Staff is warm, helpful, and attentive. This hotel is central to everything. We stayed 6 nights and walked to breakfast and dinner at a different restaurant each day within 3 or 4 short blocks. Didn’t need a car to dine, shop, or enjoy the beach. Although it’s hilly to walk from the beach, it’s easier than trying to park a car. Breakfast at the hotel is meager, however the pool is excellent, heated from April-November temperature in the 80’s. Would gladly stay here again. "

"Great place in a great location! Our room was a little dated but everything was very comfortable & clean, the room had a small fireplace and we had plenty of room for our luggage etc. Breakfast had a nice spread too! "

"Tight parking spaces on site. But easy access to downtown Monterey and the rest of the area. Quiet surroundings. Well maintained property."
