I travel for work and have stayed at 4 * Hotels and this was every bit as nice and accommodating. My blended family all said this was the nicest hotel they've ever stayed in. โAll the staff, as soon as we walked in the door, was friendly and helpful. The person checking us in asked us about what we were doing and our travel. I thought that was super nice. The room was everything we needed for our one night stay. This was our 2nd or 3rd time staying at this hotel. โWhen we pulled in the sign said โHotel Indigoโ. This was disconcerting since I had made reservations at a Holiday Inn Express. I also stayed at the same property in April when it was a Holiday Inn Express. Itโs still an IHG property..
We appreciate the history of this hotel and itโs nice that the renovations celebrate this.. itโs on the National Register of Historic Places as the first motel on Route 66 in St Louis. โ
