4/5 - Good
Progreso is nice. The hotel I stayed at ruined it.

Room was clean. The location is great. The staff was extremely friendly. Ocean front room, awesome balcony. We had a small kitchen that was perfect for making our breakfast.

It was beautiful
Beautiful white sand beach. Friendly people.
Better go before it turns in to another Cancun. There are cruise ship arrivals almost every day at the pier but it was still pretty low key compared to Cancun, Cozumel. Not commercialized like those cities yet.
The only thing we struggled with slightly was the wifi in our room only worked near the door. I have to admit, the disconnect from our phones made for a more personal experience.
Interesting array of how old meets new.
