“The property and surrounding area are quaint, lovely setting and very helpful staff. However, the room we stayed in was very tired, full of cobwebs and in need of a good clean and redecoration. With the heatwave going on, it would have been good to have a fridge in the room for cool drinks. There were fans but they just move the hot air about. “Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. “Fabulous location away from the tourists but a very short walk to all the action, the sea, the harbour, etc. Free parking included. Spectacular breakfast included. The hosts, Jackie and Chris, took care of our every need and went beyond expectation. Even brought us upgraded wine glasses one evening to better enjoy our bottle of wine on their front patio. Incredibly generous hosts.”

“Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again.”
