โA wonderful place. Incredible views, wonderful food, fantastic location, friendly staff, walkable to a pub with the most amazing beer garden view. It was fantastic, hope to visit again.โ
โLovely hotel, very helpful staff. Restaurant was excellent, they were so good with my special dietary needs. Wheelchair friendly room, parking space and Restaurant access. We will be back. โ
โLovely bright room with a fantastic sea view - comfy bed. Staff really good and nothing too much trouble. Couple of issues with food but sorted quickly. Would recommend this as a fantastic place to stay.โ
โStayed here for 2 nights with our 9 month old son. The building is full of character and clearly someone takes oride in ensuring it stays beautiful. The best bit about this place though is the staff. They are the nicest staff we have ever encountered - from helping us with our bags to creating a dish that my son could eat whilst weaning. They were always proacrively offering to help. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.โ
โBreakfasts were excellent. Gluten free was available for me.
In our room we had a huge bed that we could stretch out in.
Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Mark & Jan.โ
โWe loved Purbeck House and were intrigued by its history and glad to see it embraced its history. We stayed in the annexe which met all our needs but if ever the opportunity to return would love to stay in the main hotel. We found all the staff to be very friendly and informative and felt they were fully invested in providing the guests with an enjoyable experience.โ
โWe had a great time, the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good and the room perfect. We could highly recommend a stay at The Red Lion, you won't be disappointed. โ
โPerfect location for exploring the SW Coastal path and beaches of a beautiful part of Dorset. Sea view from a modern clean and comfortable room. Steps down to the beach - quiet compared to central Swanage. Easy access onto the downs and coastal path. Excellent breakfast. Really friendly helpful staff.โ
โAn excellent location and the directions provided by the host were spot on. In a beautiful peaceful location and a stones throw from the harbour front. Once inside the property we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean and the welcome book included all the details we needed, not only about the accommodation but also suggestions for restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The host was amazing, leaving us to enjoy our stay but responding straight away to any questions we had. Highly...
