"This is a very nice hotel in a great area. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The business center helped me print a few pages I needed urgently and did not charge me. The Sky Bar gave me a 20% discount for staying in the hotel the day I arrived. On the day I checked out at noon, I went to the Sky Bar for two Negroni's before heading to the airport at two and the waitress refused to give me a discount as I was no longer a guest at the hotel since I had checked out. Crazy. In my mind the free printing at the business center nets this out, but what a strange policy and a sour note to leave on. I did find the rooms had limited power outlets. I had to unplug the teapot to charge my computer, etc. The bed was very low and hard. It was almost more of a futon-type mattress. It was also supposed to be a king-size bed, but was barely queen-size. All in all, the stay was excellent, but I am not sure I would stay again on my next trip to Shanghai."
