The overall ambiance was pleasant, with good lighting and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was well-maintained and contributing to our overall comfort during the stay. "I've always stayed at this hotel when I'm in Takamatsu. The location offers the most convenience with a walking distance to the station, the bus stops and many restaurants. The room is super clean and the staff are all kind and professional. The view of the port and the area with a small castle is an added bonus. Highly recommended! "

"Obviously the premier hotel in the area as every taxi driver recognizes the name Hanajukai. We had a top floor room with private Onsen with view of the harbor. Because it is up a hill getting in and out requires a taxi. The meals were excellent as well. "

"Staff was super kind - I needed help bringing my & my travel companion's bags upstairs while my travel companion was out, and they even helped me carry it up. The public bath was lovely, and there was free ice cream and laundry. Rooms were smaller but well laid out so it was easy to use. I loved it! The parking uses a car rotator so only small cars will fit in - FYI. Did not try breakfast but did try their free ramen at night, which was a nice snack."
