"Staff was great. Room was clean with a balcony I could sit own and have wine while watching the crowd. Although the noise from the street lasted into the night, the modern window made the room almost sound proof when closed. There was a short flight of stairs from floor 0 to get to the elevator, but there was a porter to help with the suit cases. No hotel shuttle to the airport or the train station. It only takes a minute to get a cab."

"The property is in a building a couple of blocks, on a back alley, not in front y of the panteón as advertised so that felt deceiving when we arrived. "This is a great hotel in a very interesting and convenient location. We stayed for 6 days in a classic double room, and wish we were still there. Our room was excellent, very quiet and very comfortable. We loved the art sprinkled around the hotel. The hotel public spaces, both inside and outside, are very nice places to sit and read, or to watch the goings on at the next door Italian Parliament building, which are often interesting! I can’t imagine how this hotel could be better located. Breakfast was extensive and delicious every day, with lots of seating even at the busiest times and very helpful staff. Cleaning was very efficient and well done. Finally, I can’t say enough for the reception staff, who were always helpful, friendly, and caring. While there are many examples, we’re especially thankful for the help we were given in arranging a taxi to the airport at a time when getting one was difficult, making sure it arrived, and making sure we were safely on our way. It was honestly well beyond anything we’ve experienced before, and we’re very grateful. Thank you so much!"
