"I didn't like the location"

"room is clean , staff are good and air conditioning works fine. Parking just fine "

"Warning! Fraudulent practice! Make sure to check your receipt carefully as they will add random charges on your bill. I stayed in the hotel for two nights, for the record the room was clean and the whole check-in process was smooth. It did not hold until checking out, the hotel promised that the receipt will be mailed within 1 hour after the check-out, which did not happen. I have to call in and request for it. The manager sent the receipt but I found there were repetitive charges including nuts and snacks on my invoice. For the record I did not even touch any of those, but they charged me multiple times just to show how greedy they are. I called the hotel and asked for refund but the manager was very defensive and tried to explain that the charges are valid due to the fact I consumed them. I asked them for proof and asked to talk to the staff cleaning the room then they suddenly changed the tone of response and reluctantly issue the refund and generate a new receipt. I don't know how many victims actually suffered from their fraudulent practice as I knew that if I didn't travel on the business trip, I probably wouldn't even check the line items on the receipt. Dishonesty on the management is very concerning and I'll recommend avoiding this hotel before they put their criminal practice on you or any future travelers."

"Rooms are new, clean, modernized and perfect for the price. Regarding the loft rooms - with an upstairs, if you need a bathroom in middle of night, you will need to walk down a spiral staircase. Also, there is only a queen bed upstairs and doesn’t sleep 4 comfortably. There is a queen bed upstairs and a couch that opens up. Location is amazing! Right across st from supermarket that is open till 2 am!! Really close to everything too! Would definitely go back there again."

"The staff here is stellar! My husband was getting medical treatment at UCLA during most of our stay. The front desk, West Restaurant and the valet service took care of me well. Examples: I needed a champagne flute. Not only did West Restaurant give it to me, the glass was chilled. I needed some information and directions to closest tobacco shop, they assisted me. My Lexus convertible can be difficult to start, and each valet was patient and treated her with love and care. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with excellent views. I had all that I needed as far as drawer and closet space, ironing board, ice bucket, towels and toiletries. I lounged by the pool, and ordered room service as needed. There were several times that I had to use the stairs rather than the elevator to return to my room because the elevator got stuck on higher floors. I also had difficulty on my floor with one side not wanting to return to the lobby, so I would get out and press the button for another elevator. Even though it's not necessary to tap your room key to go to the lobby, sometimes this option allowed me to return to the lobby. An excellent choice. It was convenient to Santa Monica, 405 and 10 freeways when I ventured over to Melrose Arts District for dinner, and for the drive home. I would recommend this hotel. They understand service, they are accommodating, patient and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and pleasing! "

"Everything was great"

"It was a convenient location to my meeting. Very boutique-like property. Breakfast was "sparce"- continental ( bread, packaged sweet rolls, bagels, cereal and fruit). The parking was amenable to a compact car, only. Very narrow spaces and had to bring in my mirrors to get out of the space. I recommend this hotel for location."
