โStayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area.โ
โHad read good reviews of this hotel, so decided to book and it was great. Was only here 1 night, but would definitely stay again.
Bedroom & bathroom clean and comfortable and a nice comfy bed too. Dinner was great as was breakfast next morning. Staff all friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Easy parking either in dedicated patronโs car park or on street. Great location for exploring the area and Castle Douglas itself is a nice town with lots of independent businesses and plenty cafes, delis...
โOvernight stay. Due to our own problems could not check in arriving after 12mn very good instructions to gain entry and directions to room. Breakfast made to order delicious and plentiful. Hotel is tierd in places but room was modern obviously newly updated. Bed very comfortable family are improving areas all the time. Well worth a visit if you are coming to Castle Douglas.โ
