“This place is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Hot tub property is amazkng. I have stayed here 2 times and always awsome. Close to downtown. ”

“Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. ”

“The Mont Rest Inn owner and staff are the most hospitable and gracious people. The rooms and the entire house was in pristine condition. Breakfast was amazing!! The history of the Inn is tremendously interesting. Wonderful stay!! ”

“The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous...
