“The staff were great but the rooms were a bit cramped especially the bathrooms. There were problems with television reception breaking up. The hotel is in a nice location and the food was fine.”

“Hoped to stay in old part, not quite the same atmosphere in newer section! Toilet was dirty and mud on floor on arrival. Ordered cheese pasty and got a meat one! Too late to change. Fish and chips were excellent, small portion plenty for each of us. A lovely place to stay, recommend read Daphne DuMauriers book. Great position to explore both coast lines. ”

“Lovely historic hotel in an absolutely stunning coastal setting. Close to walks and the village of Port Isaac. You must like hills. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is part of an excellent local restaurant and a well-loved and cozy pub. We found the staff very friendly and helpful from start to finish. “Loved this hotel. We stayed in one of the self catering lodges which was great. Lodge was spacious and had everythigg no we needed travelling with young children. We used the hotel swimming pool and explored the grounds. Great location, easy to park and charge EV and in an excellent location for what we wanted. Staff helped with any query we had. The only thing I’d love to see was a few more condements in the lodge, what would be available if we stayed in the hotel. Will definitely stay again”

“Well located close to bus stop for short trip into city centre. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed. There was plenty of room to bring in our suitcases rather than just an overnight bag. Staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Having a restaurant right there was so convenient at end of a long day. Parking was convenient and everything on one level. Breakfast was a good selection of the usual fare. Would recommend this property.”
