It’s a very standard family park hotel. The rooms are exceptionally small however every park hotel seems to maximize their number of rooms by limiting space. Fairly priced. Nothing exceptional and no real complaints just noisy but again it’s exactly what I expect.

We stayed at the beginning of May and upon check-in, the foyer was freezing cold even though I was wearing a coat. Once we had our room, we found that it was also cold. I tried complaining to the hotel manager, but they never returned my call. Maintenance said that the unit was used for air conditioning and not meant for heating. It took a long time to warm up the room. The room was poorly set-up, as the coat rack and the luggage rack and the safe were all over-lapping each other and made it difficult to access things. The bathroom did not have any hooks for clean clothes and the hooks for wet towels was in the shower. When I took a shower I had to remove the wet towels that were hanging in the shower and put them back after I was done. The sink countertop was not shaped properly to drain water back into the sink and the hand soap left a mess on the countertop because it was sitting in a puddle of water. The water remained on the counter and spread, leaving no place to leave clean clothes and toiletries. Also, upon arrival we parked out front under the canopy to register. Once registered we were sent to a side entrance to unload our luggage in the rain, which is extremely odd, given the fact that there is a perfectly good canopy at the front for unloading. Although we did love the proximity to Cedar Point.

Was clean and close to cedar point. Nice pool area. I do think they should’ve had at least a continental breakfast and coffee for the guests, seems like the only place I’ve seen without that.

Ants took over the room when we were sleeping. So I woke up with at least a hundred of ants crawling on my bed. Other than that the stay was short so nothing else could happen.
